We are very happy to announce that Ride with GPS will be the official route planner for Balutia.
Ride with GPS is a platform designed to create, host, and prepare routes in natural environments with a very high level of detail. It offers turn-by-turn navigation, even offline, and is compatible with the vast majority of GPS devices used by cyclists today.
One of the things we value most about Ride with GPS is the quality of its satellite view and the ability to add points of interest (POIs) along the route. These points help guide participants to bars, water sources, and shops where they can resupply, something essential in bikepacking and ultra-distance riding. They also allow us to highlight potential obstacles or more complex navigation sections, adding context and safety without taking away from the spirit of adventure.
Premium Ride with GPS features for all Balutia participants
During the event, all Balutia participants will have free access to Ride with GPS Premium features, making it easier to plan, navigate, and manage the route before and during the challenge.
In addition, we will raffle four one-year Premium accounts among the participants.
In the meantime, we continue working on the rider’s manual and the route book, fine-tuning every detail to make the experience as clear and honest as possible.
